Snyder-Girotti Cafeteria Information - 2025
Snyder-Girotti Cafeteria Information - 2025Breakfast is FREE for all students under the Governor's Free Breakfast Initiative. Breakfast is served from 7:30 - 8:00am.
Lunch costs $2.50. Families have the option to apply for free/reduced price meals at any time during the school year. If your family qualifies for reduced priced meals, students in your household will eat for free/no charge for meals.
Breakfast and Lunch menus are available on the district's website. September's menu will be updated soon.
Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to fill out an online application to see if your family qualifies for free/reduced priced meals. Log on to
www.schoolcafe.com to apply. Applications are accepted all year long. You may also reapply at any time during the school year if your household has had a change in income or family size. If you need assistance completing the application, or you would like to fill out a paper application, please contact Jennifer White, Cafeteria Manager, at jwhite@bbsd.org.
Please review the Food Services Meal Charge Policy on the district's website. Parents will be notified when a student's account reaches a negative balance due to charging 5 lunches. Any student that requests a lunch will receive one, and a charge will be added to their account. Meal debt will begin to accrue as soon as the first day of school.
All students have an individual, confidential cafeteria account. Funds can be added to your student's account to use to purchase meals and snacks. Any funds sent to school with your child should be in a sealed envelope, with your child's first and last name, and their teacher's name, written on the front. You may also add funds and monitor your student's spending online by logging on to
www.schoolpaymentportal.com.
We offer a la carte snack sales during all lunches. All snacks sold at school meet required "Smart Snacks" standards set by the National School Lunch Program. Snack prices range from .25c - $1.50. There are no charges allowed for a la carte items. Students must have funds available at the time of purchase.
Free water is available at water fountains and water bottle refill stations. Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle daily.
